The Newburg Fire Department is a non-profit and fundraise through Bingo and the Newburg Firemen’s Picnic held each June.

The Newburg Fire Department is a volunteer fire department that started in 1887 with 15 residents providing fire protection to the Newburg area.

MESSAGE FROM OUR CHIEF

Welcome to the Newburg Fire Department website.

Since our founding in 1887 with just 15 dedicated residents, our department has grown into a proud team of over 40 volunteer firefighters and EMTs. Though much has changed over the years, our commitment to protecting the community has remained steadfast.

We are a dedicated group of men and women who take great pride in serving our neighbors. Whether responding to emergencies, educating the public, or participating in community events, we strive to embody the values of service, integrity, and readiness. Prevention is a cornerstone of our mission, and we work hard not only to respond when needed but to help ensure emergencies are avoided whenever possible.

Firefighter 1 & 2 & EMT-Basic classes. Plus training in house and training events outside of our department.

Retirement Stipend

Length of Service Award, created by the State of Wisconsin, is a financial incentive/retirement stipend.

Positions Available

We take applications from those who wish to become firefighters, EMT’s, or Athletic Club members.
